David G. Russell BIOGRAPHY:
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance, David earned a Master of Music degree in Media Writing and Production from the University of Miami. He then returned to Virginia to teach Computer and Electronic Music classes at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. It was in Richmond that David's professional composing career began when he worked at In Your Ear Music as a staff composer and engineer scoring commercials for such clients as Circuit City and The Virginia Lottery as well as the film Abracadabra. While in Virginia, David was
also a contributing composer, arranger and Music Director for the world
premiere of The Red Badge of Courage, a musical.
